To me Richard Pryor is a master. He can stand in front of an audience and talk to them like he’s making the whole show up right there on the spot. He is The Master regarding timing. His punchlines are served with perfection. When I listen to his work, I get sad when there isn’t any left, and I realize that there will never be anyone like him again.
